Terms
Last updated July 2026
These are the plain terms for using this website and for working with alba & flint. The real detail of any project lives in the written proposal we agree with you. If anything here and your proposal disagree, the proposal wins.
About this website
Everything on this site is here to help you understand how we work. The words, prices and examples are indicative, not a formal offer. Nothing here creates a contract on its own.
Prices and quotes
The prices shown are starting points, written as “from” figures. The right number for your project depends on what you actually need. Every build is scoped and agreed in writing before we start, so the price holds. If something new comes up along the way, we price it clearly and you decide.
Doing the work
Once we have agreed the scope and price, we will let you know the timeline and what we need from you. Projects run best when content, images and feedback come through when we have agreed they will. If they are delayed, timelines can move too.
What you provide
You are responsible for the content you give us to use and for making sure you have the right to use it, including any text, images and logos. If you provide something you do not have the rights to, that is on you rather than us.
Ownership
When your project is paid for in full, the website and its code are yours. You get your own accounts and the files, with no platform lock-in. Until final payment, the work remains ours.
We may show the work we have done for you in our own portfolio and writing, unless you ask us not to. We will never share anything you have told us in confidence.
Third-party services
Your site may rely on outside services, such as hosting, a domain registrar, or web fonts. Those services have their own terms and we are not responsible for how they run or what they charge.
Our responsibility
We build carefully and stand behind our work, but we cannot promise a website will be error-free or never go down, or that it will produce a particular business result. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it. None of this limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which always applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of that state.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date at the top.
