Privacy policy
Last updated July 2026
This policy explains what personal information alba & flint collects, why and what you can do about it. We keep this deliberately short, because we collect very little.
alba & flint is a small web design studio based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you fill in the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address and whatever you choose to write about your business and what you need. That is the only information we ask you for.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is normal for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies and we do not run third-party analytics. The site does not follow you around the web.
Fonts and third parties
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those fonts, it makes a request to Google and Google may log your IP address as part of serving them. We do not control what Google does with that request and you can read their approach on Google’s own privacy pages.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which serves the site and keeps it fast and secure. The enquiry form opens your own email app to send us a message, so there is no third-party form service in between. Your message reaches us the same way any email would.
How we use it
We use what you send us for one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent your information and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers above who help us run the studio.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you would like us to delete your enquiry, just ask.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will sort it out. Under the Australian Privacy Act you also have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not happy with how we have handled your information.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If something goes wrong that affects your information, we will act promptly and, where required, let you know.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make that clear.
