How much does a website cost?
Pricing is a clear ladder: The Page from $1,200, The Site from $1,800 and The Full Story from $2,600. We agree a fixed price up front, before anything starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Every build begins with a report, so we only build what is worth building.
What is the free health check?
A short, honest read of your current site from the outside. You send me your website, I take a look and reply with a few clear things that are quietly costing you clients and where the easy wins are. It is free, needs no access to your accounts and comes with no obligation.
What is the full report, and why is it $450?
The health check is the outside-in view. The full report goes deeper: I get into your real search and analytics data, measure it against your goals and hand you a plain, prioritised plan for what to fix, write and build. It is a fixed $450, and if you build with me the report becomes part of the package and the $450 comes off your price in full.
Do I own my website?
Yes, completely. When we are finished you own the site, the code and the content, and you can host it anywhere. No lock-in, ever.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly we settle the words and images. A single page is quick, a full site takes longer. We agree a timeline together up front, so you always know where things are.
Can you improve my SEO and get me found by AI without rebuilding my site?
Yes. If you love your current site but you are not being found, I offer a search and AI visibility package that works on top of it: titles, structure, schema, your Google Business Profile and content written to be picked up by Google and AI tools like ChatGPT. You do not need a new website to get found.
Do you work with templated sites like Wix or Squarespace?
For the visibility work, yes. Most of what helps you get found sits on top of the site and works on any platform. The one honest limit is deep speed tuning, which the platform controls, so I will always tell you up front what is achievable on your setup. If you outgrow what the template allows, a custom build unlocks the rest.
What does being found by AI actually mean?
People do not just search any more, they ask. When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI for a recommendation, I make sure your site is clear and well structured enough to be one of the names they put forward. It is the newest place your next client is looking, and most sites are not ready for it.
Can you write the words and sort the images?
Yes. On The Site I shape your words and sort your images for the web. On The Full Story I write the copy and art-direct the images with you. Photography and a brand refresh are available as add-ons if you need them.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Care plans keep your site live, secure and healthy, and keep it tuned for search and AI as they change. You can also hand the day-to-day updates over when you would rather not think about them. Either way, the site stays yours.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
I am a one-person studio on the northern beaches in Sydney. I build custom sites remotely, so I can work with you wherever you are.
